According to UIP, my local cinema is getting Serenity!

Aussies can check the list of confirmed cinemas HERE.

This means that if I'm very nice to my sister and ply her with Supernatural eps first, and make Skulker promise to behave so we can leave the house, I may be able to persuade her to see it with me this weekend

Oh, and don't think you'll escape the waiting for movies once you leave. Oh no, we only get a select few movies at the same time as the US and some of them never even make it. I'm usually in the same boat as you.

Still, a day before the rest of the world for this one? Not too shabby.

And I know I won't escape it, but at the moment the resentment weasel is gnawing on my entrails so it makes Aust seem like paradise. Also I won't have to watch any more stuff with subtitles.

Yeh, I do. At least until I can get a bootleg copy of it.

Actually a *very* insignificant part of me is happy we won't get it cause everyone will laugh at the actors' Chinese. They did it in Batman Begins with the *one* line Christian says. And I don't want them laughing at my beloved Serenity crew!
