Erk, the Batman Begins candy tastes disgusting, just so you know, but it comes in cool mini collectors tins and I couldn't resist the one with "the city belongs to me" on it.
H&A:
I can't believe Tash took down Mitzi's poster! That girl (and her boobs) has been a Robbie/Kim fixture for so long, it really makes me think it's over. Also, Robbie hasn't been to the hospital to see HIS BEST FRIEND and it makes me wanna cry. Stupid, stupid show. And I really wanted Duncan to stay, dammit! I love that kid - because he's *not* loveable, y'know? I like that he's ugly and a "bad egg" as Alf puts it, and as distasteful as he is, I want to hold him close and pet his greasy hair when his *family* treat him like that because, sheesh, maybe your kid turned out that way because of *you*, Alf. Little quick to accuse your son of cold-blooded murder, aren't we?
Also Duncan was with me with the whole Rim thing to begin with. He helped it along immensely, in fact. And I owe him a lot. Come back soon, Duncan! Maybe you and me could set up a fic date sometime. I know you've always had your eye on Kim, and now that Robbie's out of the picture...*g*
Oh, and as long as nobody snickers, I'll tell you I bought Girlfriend magazine this month because it had Chris, Jason and Isabel on the cover in spiffy formal outfits and the boys have their bowties undone and collars unbuttoned and...well, Chris made me swoon in the middle of the store (omg, he has the most beautiful eyelashes I have ever seen. I think I'm obsessing over his eyelashes this month. Hips are so passe *g*) Check it out
here.
Anyway! Here's a cute bit of the "Making the Cover" thingy inside:
"It's funny," said Isabel, Chris and Jason's publicist, "these three are best friends on screen and off but they never all get shot together. this should be fun."
A moment later Isabel is the first of the Home and Away trio to arrive at the Girlfriend shoot. She's here an hour early to get a head start on her co-stars. She's tiny in real life and looks impossibly gorgeous in thongs, a 40 hour famine t-shirt and knee length denim skirt.
Jason arrives next in a flurry of hellos, handshakes and laughter. He's parked his car in a bus zone and is being beeped and yelled at by an onslaught of buses, passengers and taxis on the busy Broadway strip. "It'll be fine," he announces as he heads to the change rooms. "the bus zone ends in like, two minutes."
Chris arrives fresh from surfing, says a quick "hi" to "Issy" and heads over to Jason to catch up. Their hushed voices suggest there's some major gossip going down but we can't get close enough to hear (damn).
Good to see the boys are still in love offscreen, huh?
There's also a Jared Padalecki poster (still Supernatural fangirling, so this pleased me) and if anyone wants any "embarassing boy sex questions" anwered, I'll open the sealed section. *is so ashamed*
