ok, more positive things now

So, living in michigan. There are perks. Like old friends. Those are good. And lakes; it's nice to see water again. How do other people live in the rest of the country without water every seven hundred feet? It was just odd in kentucky.

I actually have a job interview. That's exciting. And good. I've decided to give this a go before pursuing any sort of government-type action, but to be up-front with them about--and this is so weird to say out loud, but I should probably get used to saying it if I'm going to, like, expect it to be respected--disability. I mean, if the doctors thought it was significant enough to interfere with everyday schoolwork, it could possibly interfere with everyday work-life, so. I should tell them that. It's still a new concept, to say out loud. Well, not the concept, really, but the word, and the idea that I've got, like, actual support from the ADA and reasonable accommodations and all that. Kinda trippy. I've been so used to just going it alone for, god, 15 years--mine is not a family in which we involve other people in our problems--that it's a hard habit to break.

anyway, yay! for making money! or the possibility of it!

also, the slim possibility of taking some part-time online classes. slim. the goings are slow on that front, but the online thing works better for me and my whole ...deal.

i got better pain relief drugs for the time being, so that's fantastic, and may have something to do with me being perky, but at the moment, I'm okay with that. Tomorrow, when I'm not quite so perky and dad's all "let's get these books moved!" (and therefore everything currently residing in my room) I'll be less perky, but that's tomorrow.
