the world is a crazy place
I can't believe the events of the past few days. It's been a flurry of emotion, and there have been several times when I've wanted someone to pinch me to wake me up from this nightmare; or this blissful dream.
We've ended up on a high note! It's truly a great thing when you see a friend of yours basically rise from ashes to become something so much more. The fact that he has taken his life into his own hands and really pondered about what he deserves elates me to no end.
We're going to AR this weekend, for some Mardi Gras thing, if the weather cooperates. Otherwise, I have no idea what's going on.
I've been making great strides in my workouts, and it's fantastic. I'm down to 161, and holding steady for this week, but i'm sure it'll start melting off as I train for my first 5k in April! :D
