Um, okay, there's not much to say about life right now; the days kind of run together. However, these are some highlights from the past week. First of all I am two for two on successfully rockin' craft nights! We made pasta art and drank, and my friends again proved their artistic merit.
Wednesday, bought David Sedaris' new book with ten minutes left to get to work. Totally worth it. I'm not allowed to read it until I finish the other three books on my nightstand now.
Friday the 13th, Joe and Suzanna had a party with delicious eats. i failed at creative by not dressing up as something scarey, but then danced it out to Copa Cabana with Suzanna, which I guess is a different kind of scarey.
Saturday I ate fish and asparagus at the Market Seafood Grille with and ran errands. Delicious and productive, that's just how i roll. What made me really feel like a winner was popping my head in Steve and Barry's (which I had never been in) and finding out that Sarah Jessica Parker has a line there that includes the perfect little black dress . . .for $8.95!!! But horrors, they were out of my size. So with a resourcefulness equal to that of the Order (of the Phoenix) I crawled over sweaters to get to the mannequin wearing the last dress in my size, and then spoke with no less than three staff members to let me strip this plastic lady of MY DRESS.
Today, wished my father a happy day and was told that I need to look into insurance. Why aren't fathers just happy with ties anymore?
