Anywho the real reason I'm here is to give my twisted version of this weekends events.
Operation Ninja
This was my code word for Erika's surprise birthday party, but I'm the only one that used it cause apparently Shannon cannot operate msn (joking Shannon, luv ya ;))
So it all started on friday when Shannon and I were on msn expressing to each other our concern for Erika because she seemed bummed that not many of us would be around for her birthday. So we thought up a suprise party to try and cheer her up.
With Shannon's strong organizational planning skills and my ability to fly by the seat of my pants, we were the perfect match to plan this thing. She kept me focused on the goal and I was able to talk her into planning a party for the next day @ Jen's camp without even informing Jen about it.
So after the planning I zipped off to get party paraphernalia and a cake. I was kinda relying on blind luck in hopes that all the factors out of my control would just fall into place.
The Factors:
- Would Jen allow this to go on at her camp??
- Would anyone else have anything unforeseen that could throw a wrench into our plans??
- Would my sis find the b-day cake and eat it??
But thank god, everything went according to plan. Jen was more then excited about the idea and if it wasn't for her awesome acting skills we never would have gotten rid of Erika long enough to set up.
I also would like to thank Rachelle, Shannon and Wes for their hot air for the balloons and Fraser, Luke and Gallow for their electrons which made the balloons statically stick to the roof....Who would've thought Bill Nye would come in handy. My first successful covert operation! Thank you to you all!!!!!
The Truck Box Adventure
Gallow, Wes and I decided to hop in the back of Luke's truck while him and Jen went to Lappe for cookies. This was a drunken decision! And it was a total blast!!!!!
* We screamed at people going by!
* We screamed going down hills! (roller coaster style)
* We screamed for no apparent reason!
Thank you to the old guy walking the dog who humored us by waving back when we passed him. A big PISS OFF! to the kids that gave us the finger for waving and screaming at them!
"PASS THEM JEN! PASS THEM JEN! PASS THEM JEN!" - Our fav cheer.
We returned with from our adventure with cookies and fireworks. The fireworks were pretty cool. Everyone was cheering for the "Red Dragon". Just to contrast, I started to sheer for the "Orange Blossom". And To make it even funnier orange blossom was way cooler than red dragon!!!!

The Intense Water Fight
Rachelle and I decided to turn the remainder of Erika's party balloons into water balloons. We then filled up the boat and went out to the floating dock to throw them and Luke, Fraser and Gallow. This started an all out war, with Jen and Wes on tube thingies with water guns, the guys on the floating dock, Rachelle and I in the boat and Shannon and Erika and the innocent mermaid by standers.
Overall totally awesome weekend!!!!!
