after our crash-and-burn standard run last weekend, I decided Stel was up or overdue for some RDW rehab work yesterday... I haven't made one of these running contacts vids in a long time, so it was interesting for me to see up close where she is at. She always managed to get a hind foot or two in, but really mostly gave me solid running contacts and what I didn't realize she was doing was many more front-and back-feet hits... beautiful!
I decided not to work on turns this time, maybe a couple variations on entries, but this was just for her get back the solid running feel again...

At the Tuesday night class this week, Terri gave us such fun and challenging little 12-13 obstacle sequences (we're still inside) like this one:
with lots of places for an opportunity to practice skills from that MEB's international skills seminar I audited awhile back that haven't gotten around to even trying at home...
anyhow, I did set up a couple things for me and Stel to practice yesterday and maybe... if there hadn't 've been bees in the grass we would have done better... you can see how she slows down especially in #2 and gets increasingly stressed... poor Stel, its bad enough that I am trying and often failing to learn this stuff ON her...
