k9 class today
Sassie had us all running in circles today.
Literally. A course that ran in a circle (twice) in the midst of all the other obstacles. Felt sort of like controlled zoomies running it. The dogs were all fast. I am suspecting this IS the motive behind the curriculum of the last two classes. Speed.
Then she added a couple twists and a choice of how to go before rejoining the centrifugal part of the course and then one last twist involving a back and forth.
Stella was good. I ahem warped our circle second time round into an oval and almost ran into the double jump. Then, there was the very unpretty rear cross that made poor Stell do a little loop-de-loop afterwards between obstacles. But she's pretty forgiving.
There also was a little leaping DW contact issue that seemed uncharacteristic... Sassie figured it out... a coming right AT a person sitting at the DW thing. Fixed it. How she gets whats in the dogs brain? and so fast. Freakin intuitive. Saves me a ton of stress.
no class next week. but I do have my equipment back home now.
