"PIE JESU DOMINE, DONA EIS REQUIEM..." (SMACK go their heads against the tablets) -- Monty Python

Feel sort of like that right now. Wish I could knock myself out and get to sleep, but I'm just...wide-eyed.

Had a good weekend, but it went too fast. Spent the majority of it out in the boonies with my grandparents, father, aunt, and uncle. We go to this huge arts and crafts fair every year...it might sound lame to you, but it really is one of the highlights of my year. I sinfully bought lots of ditties, but most noticably things to make my room cooler...a scroll with my name written on it it Chinese, some dangly glass people, and some bamboo. Yes, the Commies are invading my mountain crafty fair. But that's okay.

It's funny...the guy who did my scroll was very sweet...ehm, actually, rather exceedingly sweet. He was a Taiwanese accupuncturist and massage therapist, so while I was waiting on the ink to dry he gave me a free massage. I was relaxed as all get out for the rest of the day. But anyway, I didn't realize that something was odd until he randomly gave me his number, upon which point I asked if he would paint a rock with the name Clifford on it.

"Who Clifford?"

"My boyfriend."

"Oh." (smile, then dejected face)

I felt bad. But I think Clifford liked his rock.

We went to church together this morning...he took me to Woodmont Hills because I had never been to a big church before. Then I did a lot of homework. I feel like I got a decent amount accomplished today, and that makes me glad. My only regret was that I wasn't able to go to the English major party. Ah well, I'll be sure to go to the movie night.

Confusion to Robespierre.

ps - saw "Hero," which is a phenomenal film.

This isn't an interesting quote, but today I saw Julia Orr with a funny shirt. It said 'Holy Cow' on it and it had a drawing of a cow with wings and a halo. I don't know why it made me laugh. Guess it hit a chord.
