I finally read Susan Cooper's The Dark is Rising Sequence a few weeks ago after I heard they were movie-fying them. (They were always "one of those books that I knew about, but never got around to reading." And the first one, Over Sea, Under Stone bored me so much the time I tried to read it that I decided that the rest of the books must be equally as bad... And I was too young to even consider just starting with the second one... which is what I did this time round...)
Anyway, I am completely OBSESSED now... doubly so since I just found a site with some early shots of the movie.... Haha, Christopher Eccleston's playing the Rider... SWEETNESS... The Ninth Doctor is now a villain! Just like David Tennant was Barty Crouch Jr. in HP4:GoF the movie!
They've made Will older.... The kid they've got for him looks all right...somehow he's just not how I pictured Will Stanton, though... And it looks like they've based it in now, rather than the early seventies, when it was written....
I hope they do the others... I wanna see if they find an albino kid to play Bran...
I am such a GEEK, but I love that about myself...
