(no subject)
I've finally gotten my house back in order. New furniture (again), new carpet, drapes, and even new art for the walls. It's a completely different place now, with no reminders of anything past. I think I like it. JT suggested I get a roommate, so I'll be looking tomorrow. He agreed to go with me, him thinking himself an authority on animals. Did I mention the roommate would be four-footed and furry? I'd love a dog. Something big and friendly and faithful. Probably a mutt. I have the time for a puppy now, being unemployed, so I might as well take advantage of the fact.
Speaking of unemployed...
There's a pile of scripts on the desk, waiting for me to look at them. The one I choose to really consider will have to be perfect; something with plenty of action in it. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a box office draw and the less-than-perfect scripts are the only ones that find their way to me. It's a living. If the money was there, I'd make a career move to professional surfing. I'm not kidding.
