1. DANCE is scheduled to be published on July 12th in the United States! Currently speculated to be released in character novel form? I am not sure how I feel about that. Even still, I will be barracating myself in my own private Mountain Hall when the date arrives; although, 48 acres of Upstate land is still not enough room for my imagination.
2. My nine year relationship with Tool is hitting the ten year mark, and they have begun working on the new album! Yes, they say this every year - but this time, they really have. I hope! *is giddy*
3. I have four dolls in mind for my next dolly purchase, which is exciting - but I will have to limit myself to two, as I am drawn to expensive albeit gorgeous hobbies.
4. I will be representing the Tibetan Museum at the Archaeology Fair at Wagner College this Sunday, which has subsequently resulted in my having two traditional Himalayan demon masks lying on my bed at the moment.
5. Would I choose a piece from the score of Buffy Season 2 for my upcoming transcription assignment in Musicianship? Yes. ^_^
6. Seeing my little cousin at her Sweet Sixteen was wonderful. She’s been going through a rough time of late, and this was exactly what she needed. It is so important that she be happy. That is all I could ask for, and I am glad to see that she has friends who take such good care of her.
7. After six years out of print, Kodansha is bringing Sailor Moon manga to the United States in new deluxe editions. It will have new cover art, retouched interior art, new dialogue and bonus material never before published in the U.S.A. And yes, I still have all of the original ACTS, a few TokyoPop magazines, and a few toys from when I was 10 (and 11, 12, 13, 14... 15). Susan suggested Bubble Tea to celebrate.
So much to look forward to! ^^ Diana has been begging me to help her find a Plum & Prune of her very own, so I will have to make a trip soon. And she bought me a doll! I haven't seen it yet, but I know I'll love it. She is such a sweetheart.
Back-tracking to my third point, I will also be saving some of my money for this sexy, lavender portable. It is quite expensive, but I’m wondering if Mike can find it for a lower price during one of his business trips to Asia this year:
Dinner was magical this evening. I love Peking duck. I don’t think I say that as often as I should, but it’s important to note. Perhaps its meat in general, although steak is best served rare. No! No! “Rare” implies dangerously cooked. When I say “rare,” what I really mean is "just let it look at the oven in terror, then bring it out to me."
Please do not divulge this information to my wonderful, yet vegetarian, mother. This whole "meat as subject matter" arose when Jacquelene told me that she had picked up some 'vegan' strawberry preserves. If you are selling them at a farmer's market to hipsters, it'd better say it on the label.
... but I purposefully put a small amount of beef bullion into everything I eat specifically to ensure that it's NOT vegan.
