"I feel utterly bemused by the issue of Spaced being transferred anywhere. It is an extremely personal show that grew out of a very specific set of circumstances. There is no way on Earth it could ever be reversioned without becoming something completely different. If you take away all those specifics, what you're left with is a very conventional log line for a fairly mediocre sitcom. "Two strangers decide to pose as a professional couple in order to secure an apartment". I'm sure anyone who appreciates the show would agree that 'set up' is probably the least relevant aspect of the show's appeal. I am really pissed off that we weren't even contacted out of courtesy or respect. Long live Spaced 1.0."
