We don’t know so much about Africa or Asia, but something definitely should happen there. Just for you curiosity here is the database of african/asian electronic music which has quite a lot of names.

For example i found:
- turkish experimental acid Barbar Konan (a la AFX)
- chinese chiptune/bitpop Sulumi
- argerian noise Nihil Humanum
- egyptian electro-acoustics/classical Halim El-Dabh
etc.
