I'm not very Web enabled.

So it has been a while since I last left a meaningful post. Which is bad. Now I have way to much to say and way too little gumption. Here is an update that completely ignores all the things that I would like to say about the last month but am to tired to write just now.

Last wednesday was my last day of work. It was poignant. There were sandwichs and cakes. I got a very emotional farewell from my various supervisors and those coworkers who know me and hadn't already left. Needless to say the leftover carrot cake went to my fridge to help with my mental anguish.

Now I don't have a job. And doing the math... I need one. Maybe not today, maybe not tommorow, but soon and for the rest of my life. Well I'm not really looking for a "career" just yet so the last bit isn't quite true. Persuant to job acquisition I have laundered some of my better clothing (Not my best clothing, my best clothing is clean by default), gotten a hair cut, and not much else really. Why, you ask? Advance Wars 2. It's like crack. Or whatever it is that the kids these days think is better than crack. I'm not sure. I don't play it every day... but I seem to really need to play right before I do any of the really crucial parts of getting a job. Like filling out applications. So of course I am now updating my livejournal when I have every intention of doing all that kind of stuff as soon as I get up tommorow. Check the timestamp and realize my self destructive spiral of unproductivity.
In my defense I just rerefixed my internet. It turns out that while I was blissfully unconnected for the last two years, someone invented adware. Now I have a tool bar that as far as I can tell does nothing but turn off internet explorer five seconds after I try to open it. (It opened itself as I tried to delete it. Insidious that it can install itself when I right click the icon. Is nothing sacred?) Liberal application of Ad Aware has been fruitless and now I'm worried I may actually have a virus! After killing my adware I immiediately find that more has been sent to my computer. What was my solution? Mozilla. I'm going to have to see about buying a new antiviral tommorow.

On that note, good night and fare travels to all that traverse this symbolic and mutable realm. Remember, adware and webcomics are two sides of the same coin. When something new comes to the internet, balance is soon restored.
