...no, not yet. Perverts. First I must bore you withother meaningless crap! Bwahahaha.
Batgirl Isn't Purple. Rather she's an unnatural shade of red/peach. It was either an error or the laziest variant cover ever. Still the fact that she isn't red just gives me more time to focus on her lemon shaped boob (Boobs don't work that way Millar! Even I know that.) The impractical earrings (She will loose an eye) the ugly mask, the concave chest, and the fact she is not My Babs. No. Never. Shut up, I won't believe it.
And for my dear comic impared Mechante (I'm sure you know some of this already, but lets go with it):
Dick Grayson is the first Robin is Nightwing, Babs is the first Batgirl is Orcale. Kory is Starfire. She and Dick almost got married comic-verse but that went to hell in a fricken handbasket rather quickly, but did establish Dick's tendency to propose right before he thinks he's going to die. *cough* Dick is a ho. I don't care what anyone else tries to tell you about him, Dick is a ho, but at least he isn't a dick like Bruce.
Tim Drake is Robin III(And V, I guess). Cass is Batgirl II and though I didn't like her at first she really grew on me and thus isn't allowed to be dead. Kon El is Superboy (Who is the son of Clark and Lex, I kid you not. Mindfuckery at its best.) and Cassie is Wonder Girl II and a blond bimbo with no personality in Teen Titans as well as a hack. (Give me Donna or give me no Wonder Girl at all! *kicks DC some more*)
Roy Harper is Speedy is Aresenal and, like Dick, is a ho. A former drug addicted ho who had a daughter with a sociopathic assasian, but it's okay because his kid, Lian, is about the most adorable thing walking God's Green DC Earth. Except that one time she was a mini-Joker and made Roy cry. That sucked.
Jason Todd is Robin II is Red Hood II(I think) is Nightwing II. He was killed by the Joker but when Superboy Prime (Who is Kal-El of the 'Prime Universe' which is technically *our* universe) punched reality In his own misguided search for his own Robin to love he brought Jason back to life. Jason went all madass and tormented Bruce for a while, tried to kill the Joker only to have Bats carve him up like a Christmas Ham. Apperently he reappears OYL as Nightwing.
Losha is most pleased because he likes his characters fucked up and they don't come much more screwy than Jason.
Anyone else reminded of Clark losing his virginity to Lana ala Smallville here?In Teen Titans 33, and Dick proposed to Babs in Nightwing 117 and I rather like the Tim/Kon and Dick/Roy pairings personally. DC hates me though and seeks to shatter those beautiful dreams with their sad attempts at romance. (I liked Dick/Kory better anyway, so FY DC. Bah.)
Also Tim kills Batgirl OYL (Here's hoping it's not Cass) and we know Roy isn't on the Outsiders OYL.
Do you know what all of this means to me once I let it all run about my head for a bit?
We need some Tim/Roy loving. Yep. I'm so going to get started on that for my First Ever Comic Fanfic. Thus far I've just fudged about the DCAU, because the toons are so much easier to follow/understand and so easier to write. But I think, for the sake of things, I might be able to work this one all right and then slink my behind back to the Animated Universe.
I also need some Jason Todd loving. Jason needs something, since his 'father' deemed keeping Joker alive more important than letting Jason have peace of mind (Batman is such a dick). He comes back as Nightwing, which is lame. I want Jason to be his own crazy character, why must he return like this!!!
Sidebar: I think Red X, of Teen Titans animated, is DCAU's Jason Todd. Jason doesn't get to be a Robin because Timothy Drake of the DCAU is a mixture of Tim and Jason (hence being called Jim sometimes) but that doesn't mean he can't exist, right? Right. (Not that Teen Titans is 'confirmed' as part of the DCAU, but I like to think it is.) Remind me to explore this concept later
It is slowly but surely coming to live. It's two stories plus a short drabble of sorts. Each one begins the same, with a weird disemboided voice talking in Dean's head about Sam. Dean is following along rather well until the voice slips and go "You must kill him for the Greater good." In all three stories Dean goes 'WTH' and it's hear the tales splinter off into three different versions.
Evil Dean: The Voice recovers quickly and decides that killing is bad. Rather Dean must tap into his own 'Power' (Empath!Dean. Lesse, whose fault was that again? Oh wait, I remember...) to stop his brother from being coruppted through his own powers and going all crazy. Only by doing this Dean himself lets in some kind of weird darkness and succumbs to it. He goes a little crazy, with the leather and the bondage and doing bad things to Sammy. (Who deserves it. *kicks Nightmares*)
Evil Sam: Dean decides he's crazy and needs a drink. He leaves the motel to get trashed and the Voice, not one to give up, goes to bug Sammy. He pulls Sammy to the Dark Side by pointing out that he isn't like other humans, that he's special and that the human race is, at large, very nasty and dark and lazy and that it's the work of the Darker Forces to keep them in line. Sammy kind of sort of opens a portal to hell. Opps.
Third: The far more likely outcome, for humors sake, will have Dean going 'Oh fuck this' and doing something that sends the Voice fleeing. Sam goes 'Uh.' and Dean shrugs and goes 'Weird voice was telling me to kill you.'.
Hmm. I think that's it. I should really spell check this but I'm going to wander off and consult with my plot bunnies instead, so that I can get you the porn I promised in a timely fashion.
