Motherhood
I just realized it's been a coon's age since I've been on here. So, I am like the proverbial "great pumpkin".
I am just going say one thing, I have a whole new respect for those (Connie!) who have been through pregnancy. I am in my 35th week and OMG, I would kill to tie my shoes, wear my regular jeans, and drink a beer right now.
We're having a little girl, naming her Maya Lyndon Bassett (my married name). The doctor says she's due March 5, 2010 - but she's probably going to be sooner (at 33 weeks, she was measuring about 5.5 pounds and might be too big to complete the 40 weeks of gestation).
That's the last ultrasound (33 weeks). She's sucking on the top of her fist,which is covering much of her lower face at the time it was taken.
This is my big ol' belly at 33 weeks (two weeks ago). Ugh. It's only gotten bigger and I've actually dropped 13 pounds since being pregnant. LOL.
