M to the I to the A

I've been MIA for a while now. Not actually, cause I've been around, but true all the same. My mind's been otherwise occupied and if I believed in being able to leave ones body for a spiritual holiday, I'd swear my mind went to Iceland for while.

But I'm back- for the most part.

Anyway, not the point of this. Actually there is no point to this.

Yes there is.

Few entries back, I said something about not wanting to watch Heroes so I wouldn't have to rescind my scornful scoffing of Save The Cheerleader, Save The World.

Well. Jenny said I should give it a shot, cause the Cheerleader is actually awesome. So I did, for you Jenny. You're the only 16 year old's advice I'd take on shows, movies, and books. (She's turned her nose up at Edward The Disco Ball in favor of Jacob- a rare trait for a teenager it seems, and her love of major twists in movies like in the Uninvited. *SEE IT!* and the like.)

So I put in the first disk of the first season tentatively, ready to not like it.... and I couldn't stop watching the first season. Indeed, I had to practically be dragged away. The second season went similarly. The third took a bit longer, since I had to watch it online, and my computer is old.

So there it is. I retract my scoffing and upturned nose that I'd done and worn in the years previous, as pertaining to Heroes.

It's not pretty, eating my words. But quite filling, so I think I'll skip breakfast ^-^

PS. Went to the beach yesterday evening during a lightning storm. Here's a treat from it:

Not perfect and awesome, but hey. It's a kinda crappy digital camera I got, and I was standing under a metal roof (wooden underneath, and wooden deck, but still I was an idiot for being out there in the first place! My mom came with me: I get the idiot from her lol)
