A few brief updates
What a heartbreaking loss for the Oregon Ducks tonight. But I liked what the coach said in his postgame comments: You have to give credit to Auburn for playing an outstanding game. The Ducks played like champions and they'll be back.
But the good news is that Tom DeLay is going to prison. Let's just hope that Speaker Boner and a bunch of the other Republican leaders in the new Congress join him there before his three years is up.
I think I mentioned before that I bought an LG Optimus Android last week. Well, not "bought" per se, because it actually didn't cost anything with a two-year contract from T-Mobile. So far, I'm absolutely loving it and the fees are reasonable for a plan that includes unlimited everything (talk, text, web, etc). If only it had a toothbrush app, it'd be able to do pretty much everything.
Perhaps it's a sad commentary on how much of a geek I really am that out of all the hundreds of apps that do such a wide variety of useful things...well, one of the first apps I installed from the Android Market was one that turns the phone into a lightsaber.
