I had a most unfortunate experience this morning. I turned on my TV and Speaker Boner was on it, giving his acceptance speech. I started getting a queasy feeling in the pit of my stomach and had to contend with a gloomy sense of malaise for most of the rest of the day. Not to mention that with all the orange on the TV screen, I was at first worried that the tint adjustments were somehow off.

The world's biggest living thing--Armillaria ostoyae, popularly known as the honey mushroom--was found in a forest in eastern Oregon.
Word has it that when asked its opinion of today's Republican takeover of the house, the mushroom replied that it spent most of the day coping with a gloomy sense of malaise.
