Word is that President Obama is considering Republican Senator Judd Gregg of New Hampshire to be his Secretary of Commerce.
The governor of New Hampshire is John Lynch--a Democrat with a 69 percent approval rating.
A reminder: Democrats currently have 59 seats in the Senate--or at least they will once the courts in Minnesota dispense with Norm Coleman's silly lawsuits that are keeping Senator-Elect Franken from taking his seat.
Another reminder: With 60 Senate seats, Democrats can put an end to a filibuster by the minority party.
