i think the best term's least angsty pair.. though i don't think they are... there's still sakuraXxiaolang (ccs, not trc - god knows they have their own issues) for starters...

recent chapters of the xxxHolic manga haven't been very happy lately... plus the stupid cliffhanger..

i agree though - watanuki would rather wait the twelve hours than admit that he's fallen hopelessly and madly in love with doumeki (can you say, in denial? XD)

I think Kentarou and Takepon deserve "least angsty" title, maybe. CCS does have a bit of angst in them (although they're still very, very cute!)

Oh, he's stuck until he confesses or has his hand chopped off. It's like normal glue in a respect - once something is affixed, it's THERE. The 12 hours is the "waiting to dry" stage.

i think though, watanuki would insist he'd rather lose the hand - though we all know he's just denying what he really wants.

I definitely love it. :D Oh, Kentarou, you amuse me so. The glue was an excellent idea, and it had a very nice fusion of the prompts...

BUT. The best of all was the dawning realisation of Watanuki's predicament at the very end. "OH, HELL NO!" made me laugh so damn hard that the librarian, who I am normally on quite good terms with, started giving me stern looks. For some reason the line "the only thing that can break the adhesive is the truth." also had me laughing. Perhaps it's simply the dramatics that Yuuko used in my head while saying this.

But thank you, thank you. This was amazing and excellent.

I had the OH HELL NO written pretty much before the whole piece, since Watanuki spazzing is so much fun. I'm glad it made you snicker.

Spastic!Watanuki is one of those things that either works or it doesn't. From my point of view, there needs to be something to trigger him - he tends to stew (even just a little) first before exploding. He DOES have a minute amount of patience.
