out and about.
i'm switching my blog over to wordpress. why, you ask? well, because i think that wordpress offers more options than LJ does, i can have my own domain name (www.me-unplugged.com - change your bookmarks! ;) and because the period of my life when i started my LJ blog is incredibly different than right now (not the least of which has to do with my emotional state of mind, not to mention my actual physical location on the planet).
oh, and also, there are quite a few people to whom i will be giving notice of the location of my little piece of cyberspace. this is a bit odd for me as i've been in blog-hiding for the last 4 years except for a small(ish) group of people. for those of you newer readers: i apologize in advance. for what? wellll...i'm sure there will likely be something on here that you may find offensive, or ridiculous, or just plain didn't really want to know about me. there, that's my disclaimer.
so while i'm waiting for that server domain registrar thingy blahITstuffblah to get sorted, i'm lobbing some random photos at you. enjoy. (also, i took the first two photos with my new phone given to me by one very cool person named sam. i'm quite honestly very impressed with the quality of photos that this little 5.0 megapixel digicam on this phone produces. sorry, jeff, i don't think i needed to borrow yours....)

sun comes through the skylight in the stairwell, in through the window above the door, and into the entryway of sam's flat. this was, in fact, the only sun i've seen in glasgow since i've arrived. (kidding. mostly.)
