So, long story short: yesterday I flew to Utah to rescue Allysa from the desert. She's been interning at the Tony Award-winning Utah Shakespearean Festival all summer, and we thought roadtripping back to Seattle/Redmond/Bham would be a cute idea. It's weird that we're a unit. But not in a bad way. It's been entirely too long since I've felt what I'm feeling and I can't believe it's almost been a year.
Anyway - this post is a lament, officially. I will never enjoy another burrito as long as I live. I've peaked. This place in Cedar City called The 3Bs (not to be confused with the 3B Tavern, God rest its soul) serves THE most delicious burritos I have ever eaten in my life. I went so far as to tell the guy who made it that it had changed my life.
And it did.
I'm sick of going to places (Thai, Mexican, whatever) that purport to serve "spicy" food and having to drown my dinner in Sriracha just to make it spicy enough. I ordered my burrito as a 4 out of 5, and I'll be goddamned, it came back a 4 without me having to add anything to it whatsoever.
So I shall lament the sad fact that Taco Del Mar, Diego's, Taco Bell and even Jalapenos will never satisfy me in the same way that 3Bs did.
Damn you, deliciousness.
In other news I bought a Utilikilt and now I can't wear pants without my poor balls feeling confined and squished.
Now everyone's thinking about my balls. Victory.
