Your basic monthly one-liners
Dear Friends List,
Hi there. I miss you.
- I have to retake Senior Seminar because I got a D.
- This is probably a good thing because I wasn't going to be counted as a full-time student without some classes next quarter.
- It still eats balls, but I'll do way better this time because I won't be exhausted every day.
- I still kind of want to kill myself from the shame, though.
- The Sons of Prometheus EP is coming along nicely. My soloing skills (and contextualization!) have quite literally quadrupled, along with my rhythm and timing senses.
- I don't have a musician's ego. Really. I don't.
- Except I get my own riffs and solos stuck in my head. Is this a good thing?
- A quick explanation: Robotronica is something Rob and I do for fun. We get up there and play poppy bullshit because it's fun, not because it's the extent of our talents. Sons of Prometheus is a serious metal-tronica project (it's only metaltronica because we can't find a drummer) that we hope will actually go somewhere. Demos on Myspace again soon.

- I have, like, a girlfriend, and stuff.
- I gave up meat for Lent. It's easier than it sounds. She is helping.
- Passion and stability are not mutually exclusive. I am slowly discovering this.
- I don't care about stuff as much as I used to. Hence the no more emo-tom-blogging. I still worry about it but there's no point in airing it to everyone.
- I think that's it.
