So, my training went fine ;D and I'll be starting testing this Friday!
I EVEN GOT AN ID BADGE, DEWDS. "GRADUATE STUDENT ASSESSOR" HA.
So cute.
And I got to see a few of the girls in my cohort. It was actually nice, which was surprising because, unlike the rest of the group, I'm not close to the people in my program, and I thought it'd be a little uncomfortable; what worked in my favor, though, was that once I got in the building and chatted with a 2nd year and SP, I got really comfortable (instead of passing out from nerves. I'm a super anxious person, I guess), and when the other girls came in I was slightly more open than I usually am. Also, I had met with the SP last year for an interview, so I was familiar with her.
I could tell, though, the SP is keeping an eye on me. I'm the only one she knows by name (and a lot of people there know me, just by seeing me enter the building. It's strange, because I'm always the one that gets forgotten, even after years of being in the same class, wtf), she'd direct a lot of comments just to me, and I caught her watching for my reaction. Whether that's good or bad I guess we'll see.
God, I need more work clothes.
Also, because I'm spacy and tired (fuck, but I was up early, which I've gotten unused to), and jonesing for Being Human ... I caved. I am watching the American BH on Syfy and it's ... painful :C I WANT GEORGE, MITCHELL AND ANNIE not ... Josh, Aiden and Sally. URGH.
Not much news fandom-wise, sorry. But, I'm going to try my hand at making sfogliatella with pistachio ricotta and a mango and pear compote this weekend! Baking's a new hobby I picked up late in the last semester. It's surprisingly relaxing, although the recipes I've picked so far have had some expensive ingredients, argh.
... also, I'm currently eating my weight in pizza rolls. gdi.
eta: is the guy that plays Bishop the same guy who played Nick/Luci on SPN? If so ... that might just make up for everyone else's stilted acting. hmm.
eta II: maybe the Josh dude (George knock off) isn't too bad. At least in some scenes.
