I stalked the BH fandom and picked up some pretty, pretty icons *pets George* YAY! The show is taking over my brain, even though I don't (really) write in it (I feel horrible when I do - because I'm so American that I know I fail horribly at writing a British show :C ). Anywhoo

You know, I'm kinda ashamed to admit there's a fandom term I don't know, after all my years and immersion, but I'll beg off that this is my first TV fandom and there are a whole lot of terms I've never encountered before.

Anyway, that's my prologue before asking clarification for curtain!fic. I think I know...but I want to be sure.

No, that's fine (there's quite a few terms that I don't know and have to google, so, I feel you there). Curtain!fic is just good ol standard domestic fic (italicized because "domestic" in the SPN universe is mostly way off from the norm ;D and curtain!fic is getting house, regular jobs, that kind of stuff)

*jaw drops* Oh. Well, I was completely off - maybe coming from HP fandom with Sirius's death, I'm used to curtains referring to death, final act of the play, etc. Ha.

you know, I can see that connection, actually! But, no, deathfic is just deathfic, at least in the SPN fandom (and a few others, BH and Dark Blue and Buffy. That's all I can account for personally, anyway) :D

... you know, I've seen it done before (and done well), but I'm not doing it. This time, anyway. I just wanted to see how domestic I could get (angsty, for sure, but domestic, too).
