Wow! Thanks you so much for that! I love your criticism! It helps me see my own writing in a different light and I love that! I have always loved fall because it is that very fine line between beauty and decay. You see the world in gorgeous, resplendent color, but in the back of your mind you know exactly what that is a precursor to. But what a way to go!

I never thought of the Passion allusions, but now that I go back to it I see it! Huh! Fancy that! That's cool! Thanks for bringing that to my attention!

I really like your perspective poem. I love the usage of dogs and dog metaphors, especially puppies. We see puppies as being completely innocent and fun. I liked how you compared that to human youth, it's fleeting. But we are complicated and innocent at the same time.

I really like the lines ending with "from mini razor-teeth." It turns this sweet creature into something almost sinister.

And I really like these last lines.
"Puppies aren't always in the
Present tense."
I get this sad, reminiscent feel. Youth is gone, but not forgotten.

Thanks so much for your comments! I forgot how good it is to hear someone else's perspective on your work! I really appreciate you taking the time and I really loved reading your poem! Your work is fantastic as alway!
