(no subject)
today is a tea and soup and lay on the couch with my cat day. so nice.
well, okay, so it was nice, but i just went down to get the mail and received a jury summons. on 12/8 i am to report to the daley center as a "standby juror" (i guess i didn't make the first round?), and apparently i should bring something to read and change for the vending machines. huh. due process at work, i suppose. as dorky as it sounds, i'm kind of excited about this. i have no idea what jury selection or serving on a jury or any of this stuff is like. plus i get a day off work.
i assume though, since everyone hates jury duty, that it must be unpleasant, right? who knows.
i'm watching finding nemo. i totally can't type at the same time, but i'll write more later
