"How'd you find your way here?"
I was just looking around maria's friends journals, checking to see if there were any photos from Shatten. Would you believe I recognised your hair in your lj icon? I'm so glad I found the upstairs! It would have been a complete tragedy if I had never found it.
I really love the Dresden Dolls. They are one of my favorite newer bands now. I'm not really suprised at how quickly their popularity has grown. It was just a couple of years ago when I saw them in a small neighborhood venue, to a crowd of about 160. I dont think they will ever play to a crowd that small again.
Speaking of music, I leave you with some Chicago bands and some others. Maybe you like them, maybe you won't. Chicago Bands
Trans Alarm -- Transalarm -Final I really dont know anything about this band, other than Vince (local drummer) is in it and I like the video. The sound is typical for "Chicago Industrial Dance" music. Vince is also in two other bands: Thanatos, Sister Machine Gun
Cosmic Drops/Alina T's (New Generation-BG) song - All the Angels
If you have any finnish band links, I'd love to hear them. I'm always looking for music.
Anyway, this it probably too much. I need to cut down on the caffeine! Btw, I added you, since I locked some of the more personal entries about my trip and about other things I do. It's not a matter of shame or discretion, just a matter of energy management. :)

Yikes, I'll have to look into those when I have more time and patience :) But thanks! I'll try to think of some bands for you and post them later. It's sunday morning so my mind's stuck in this tar pit thing.
I mostly write in Finnish but I'll add you back.. Tho decided to stay out of the internet for as long as possible (read: max a month), starting today. It's messing me up too severely right now.

Chicago Bands
Rachel's Surrender elysabeth_grant sings for this band. She's also sings for another band called Black Tape for A Blue Girl
Ok, Mercurine is in LA now, but Mera's originally from Chicago, so I still consider her a Chicagoan. :) Mercurine Sampler
Cruciform Injection is electronic. They put on an exciting live show (uncommon for electronic bands IME) Cruciform Injection - Blacktides
Trans Alarm -- Transalarm -Final I really dont know anything about this band, other than Vince (local drummer) is in it and I like the video. The sound is typical for "Chicago Industrial Dance" music. Vince is also in two other bands: Thanatos, Sister Machine Gun
Other Bands
Alex Bach is from Florida. She's more of a hard Rocker. I Like her voice. Alex Bach - Crucifixion
Dead New Year. This is rat_bastard's band. The dummy doesn't have a proper webpage yet, so they use myspace. I like the undead song.
Frank The Baptist - They're from San Diego,California probably the only thing worth mentioning in San Diego. Frank the Baptist - Bleeding in my Arms (segment)
I sent these to Maria awhile ago:
The Drowning Season - Hollow Man.asx
and
Ether Aura - All Doves Grey.mp3
Cosmic Drops/Alina T's (New Generation-BG) song - All the Angels
