Две бомбы взорвались в южном пригороде Бейрута Бурдж-аль-Баражне. Теракты осуществили два смертника на мотоциклах, которые используются для доставки экспресс-почты и продуктов. Благодаря этому им легко удалось миновать блокпосты в этом густонаселенном районе. Местом для своих вылазок они избрали оживленную площадь Айн-эс-Сикка, на ней расположена шиитская мечеть и популярный торговый центр "Аль-Мансур".

At least 40 people were killed and more than 200 wounded on Thursday in two suicide bomb blasts in a crowded district in Beirut’s southern suburbs, astronghold of the Shi’ite Muslim group Hezbollah.
The blasts occurred almost simultaneously and struck a Shi’ite community center and a nearby bakery in the commercial and residential area of Borj al-Barajneh, security sources said. A closely guarded Hezbollah-run hospital is also nearby.

The blast, which was claimed by the extremist Islamic State group, is the first to target Beirut’s southern suburbs since June 2014.
“Soldiers of the Caliphate” detonated explosives planted on a motorbike in an area frequented by Shiites, using a derogatory term to refer to the sect, the IS statement said.
“After the apostates gathered in the area, one of the knights of martyrdom detonated his explosive belt in the midst of them,” the IS statement added.
But prior to that, a string of attacks targeted Hezbollah strongholds throughout the country.
Between July 2013 and February 2014, there were nine attacks that targeted Hezbollah bastions, most claimed by jihadist extremists.

... казалось, что они и сами это понимают и их служба на улицах - скорее - ритуал - мб потому и пропустили внутрь шиитского района троих мотоциклистов развозящих в ящиках задних сидений своих байков кебабы
... война/ терроризм по своей сути наверное категория настолько же абстрактная как деньги, или - религия - если припомнить Макса Вебера
