I Have No Life
My life consists of:
Listening to teachers frak out about AP tests, listening to class mates freak out about AP tests, and listening to self not freak out about AP tests.
I'm getting fives. I've gotten fives on every single stupid "Practice AP Exam" we've taken. SO WHY AM I STILL GOING TO CLASS?! Even my ap bio teacher's not letting me out anymore - not because I don't know the material, but so I can help my idiot classmates. Wait, no, she's letting the *seniors* who are getting As out, but not me. Why? Because I'm the dorky freshmen whose driving experience consists of twenty minutes or figuring out how to use a stick in a field. So, heaven forbid that she let me go sit on the bands anymore, even though I've been doing that all year, since you know? That would just make too much sense.
But, oh! Asides from all the time I waste at school, I now get to stuydy nonstop for nationals. I've been writing this in between identifying the most freakishly weird minerals you can imagine. FLOURITE IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE A STREAK DAMNIT! AND WHY DOES THAT QUARTZ HAVE CLEAVAGE!? AND WHY THE *HELL* IS ThAT BASALT BLUE?!?!??!?!

But let's see. Asides from being shipped out to uni everyday for at least four hours to work on an event that someone so-desperately wants to win, I also get to find elusive light curves for obscure variable stars. Seriously, if anyone can find a decent light curve of an alpha-canum, I wil love them forever. Since for all my mad searching skills, I can't find some of them. And I can't remember *which* armpit Betel. is.
For some reason, I also get RV Tauri and T Tauri mixed up. Which are... very bad things to get mixed up.
I also flop around Roche & Chandrasekhar quite a bit.
AND IT'S SERIOUSLY BOTHERING ME WHY NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHO IS GOING TO OCEANS SINCE SOME IDIOT MADE THEM CONFLICT AND GUMBUTT WON'T LET ME NOT DO MINERALS SINCE BY GOLLY GEE WHIZ EVEN THOUGHT I'M COMPETANT AT BOTH, EVIDENTLY I DON'T HAVE A CHANCE AT PLACING AT OCEANS BY MYSELF DESPITE PUTTING IN TWENTY HOUR WEEKS INTO THAT EVENT AND THIS COMPETITION THAT IS TAKING OVER MY LIFE AND I HAVEN'T SEEN ALEX IN WEEKS AND I FEEL SNAPPING MY FLASH DRIVE AND I WANT TO FINISH MY APHELION WATERCOLORS BUT I DON'T HAVE TIME EVEN WHEN I AM "HOME" AND THERE'S NOTHING SHARP AROUND HERE.

FH, if you want any of my notes for next year, I'd be more than happy to send them. I have effectively doubled the size of the mineral file (and fixed several incredibly stupid types - did you notice not the slipups?) If they don't switch to fossils... I don't know, since evidently they did three years of fossils before this rotation? And - if they decide to bore people again - I have lots of shiny notes on variable stars with pretty charts and equations and light curves. [/wants to feel like all this work is going to SOMETHING]
