I have an interview in an hour and it's actually at a company that I live near! w00t for not having to drive more than 30 minutes! It's a regular 8-5 office job and I'm really hoping to get this. I don't know what the pay is like but it's better than nothing and who knows, maybe I'll be able to find something better later on down the road. This will pay the bills for now ^_^;;
Wish me luck!
Edit: I got the job! The base pay isn't much but it's better than nothing and I've gotten pretty good with sales given my background with dancing ^_~ Having said that, I think I can do pretty good with this place for the meantime.
I really don't have to sell anything to these people...just time. I have to get elderly folks into a workshop where they just learn about wills, trusts, the probates on wills, etc., etc. This company just tries to keep the elderly from losing everything when their gone or are in nursing homes. I listened in on a few calls and once you get past introducing yourself (which is where they tend to hang up on you) it's pretty simple. Old people love free stuff. Hell, I love free stuff! Anyway...the more people I get to actually show up to the workshops, the more comission.
Single people coming in are a $25 comission each and if I get a couple into the workshop then that's a $100 comission each. If I get the most people to attend the workshop at the end of the week, that's another $100 comission.
I hope this is as easy as it looked when I was watching and listening to others ^_^;; If not, then I will stick it out until I find something better. It's better than nothing.
