I've been here 9.5 months, and literally (cheese ahead) everyday, I find something that gives me this warm glowing euphoria about having found this uberfantasticspontaneousdizzyinglyfun career niche. I love my job! ^___^ I mean, how could you not love a place where you have company-wide meetings while lounging on 5-person beanbags, holiday ( Read more... )

nice :P do you have a piece of plastic acting as a spring in the front to keep the cards in there?

nope, simpler. (I had a version with that, which was my personal fav, but having some moving parts, it wasn't completely fail-safe, so I wanted to make sure whatever I used would work without worries on my end.)

They're even more awesome than I envisioned! And what great template designs! I hope these things blow up for you (in the good sense), as I think they're totally kickass. I'm going to have to dream up an excuse to design one for myself.

So happy for you,
~Me

Thanks!! :D Yeah, kinda hard to describe until you actually have them in your hand. They're very... iPod nano-ish. Fun to hold. :)

Yeah, the template designs are all so diverse~ Be sure to check out the backs of the cards too, because most of them have creative, related fronts and backs. Pretty cool.

Lemme know when you design, so I can give you my recs on paper types, how designs come out on each paper, etc!

Awesome!

By the way, my new plan is to get my zazzle going strong enough to make me $500/month. That's measly in North American terms, but the second that happens I'm up and moving to a coastal village in Brazil, where I'll be king.

thanks!

You should design card templates! Your style would be perfect for the sophisticated, trendy look.

That's an awesome plan, but I'll only show (verbal/emotional, not $) support if you swing by here on your way. Would really love to have you here, and you can't do that if you're busy ruling your own tribe, Lost-ish. (sounds like fun, though). And $500/month could keep you pretty happy in a number of asian countries too (i know you've prob thought about that too).

Haven't been in touch recently, my bad. Hope to get back into the swing of things!

Big kudos for your product launch! The ejector's money. My husband and I just started a new company so this is of KEEN interest to us.

thank you!! :D Oooh, a new venture. Those are so much fun! (just remember to separate work and family-time) Of course, zazzle is run by a family. Everyone except one - the parents, two brothers (the founders), and one sister (raising $ to tou around europe) - work here. And they're awesome. It's like one huge family.

Anyway, lemme know what your needs/preferences are, and I'll give you any suggestions I can offer!

Wow, those are super awesome! The ejector's some serious icing on the already distinctive skinny cards. Congrats on the launch of what's hopefully a hugely successful product!

Now I just need to make up some kind of excuse to pick some up.

thanks!! :D Yeah, it's just out of the gate, and boy, the results have been pretty creative so far. Looks like ppl like it!

No excuse needed. :] Although, if you really needed one, I bet having these at a convention would be perfect. ;) Again, like I mentioned to others, if you want suggestions about what looks good/what works best, feel free to ask me (email prob is best).
