HOTT HOTTT HOTTTT
yes for sure it was quite toasty today. i believe it got up to about 87 or 88 degrees today. got a lot done around the house though. mowed the whole lawn from road to back woods, trimmed around everything, and weedwacked. i used to not enjoy weedwacking, but it's really not that bad of a job. plus it makes your arms stronger sicne you gotta hold up a 15 lb piece of metal for like a half hour straight.
my mom cooked sirloin burgers for dinner and i put bacon and cheese on it! oh it was such a delight. and baked beans with it too! i have been spoiled with good food since i got home from school. reminds me of some of the good meals i used to cook at college.
i told my mom today that i havent had any luck with jobs online so i said that i'm just gonna drive out to colorado and look for one once i am out there all settled in. i should be able to find one within a couple weeks of me getting there. i wonder why employers post jobs online, but never get back to you. very strange.
finally found a place that will take all these college textbooks that i have laying around my room. there must be at least 80 books there! i packed them all up in boxes, and plan to drive over to the thrift store in lockport to donate them. i hope someone will get use out of them. some are a little out of date but you never know.
i'm in my house right now sweating heavily. i can't escape this humidity! ahhh! save me! guess i better get used to it since i start work this saturday. let's hope my first few days aren't overly hot. i need to get back in the swing of things. should only take a day or 2.
