...I went back and made about two years worth of entries friends only.
If certain family members insist on googling their cousins would they please do me the courtesy of allowing my ANONYMOUS journal to remain anonymous when it comes to family members. And please do me the further courtesy of not giving out the title, address or any of the contents out. Not to mum. Not to grandma. Not to ANYONE unless I say it's ok. I don't tell my family these things for a reason because it's up to me if I tell them or not - if they don't know about it then they don't know about it because I don't want them to. Everyone has secrets from their family. So please obverve Netiquette and keep anonymous things private. Do people usually tell everyone about the contents of a journal they find? Nice.
Sorry to be so blunt. But honestly. I'd like to not have to deny the existance of a diary to my mother who already knows enough about my private life as I wish her to.
Thus. Journal is friends only. At least the ones I care about. Or are worth reading. Sorry to do this, but honestly. To tell the family!! A large breach of netiquette if ever I saw one.
