The Vans Warped Tour 2004 at Montreal
Kingsbury summed up a lot of the random events.. so read his and then heres my two-cents.
Flogging Molly, While i've always liked them, and every now and then listen to an mp3 of them.. had a kickass set. One of my favorites for the night.
Mud.... Mud mud mud. It had been lightly raining all day.. and after Flogging molly.. our legs and shoes were just covered in mud. The grass was gone. It just turned into mud.
Ate a cheeseburger and then saw a lesser known band called Hidden in Plain View.. not bad by any means... at times sounded typical.. but they were still good.
The Vandals... wow... crazy group... the guitarist is a 12 year old in a 30 year olds body. Climbing speakers.. making a scratching noise by shoving the miniture guitar through his crotch.. and while doing so the other members scooting over to the other side of the stage slowly cause they are scared of what the f--- he's doing/going to do. Them and Flogging Molly... i like.
Anti-flag.. that was well summed up in kingsburys entry.. except instead of being right up front.. me and scott got pulled back and thrown around now and then, and the rest of the time crammed up where the rest of them were.. to the point where my ribs felt like they were going to give. They played well though.

Another Note: WHY THE F--- was The Casualties alowwed to play??? WHY DOES ANYONE LIKE THEM... everyone listening to them were punk wannabes and they cant even play good punk. They try to go for the old-school style but they are horrible at even that. If The Casualties can play at warped tour.. why did RMR never play?? Im not saying were great.. im saying THEY ARE EFFING HORRIBLE. The vocolist wasnt screaming nor singing.. i dont know what the fuck he was doing.. i just wish they weren't playing while we were trying to get good spots for Avenge Sevenfold.
Avenge Sevenfold.. i wish ive listened to them more before.. but i must say.. they were unbelievable... the sound was just like off the songs ive heard and just great presence. Also the only band to use makeup and ever pull it off for me. ive never liked a band that used makeup.. or "crazy hair dews" (still havent) and not bother the hell outta me.. but it used it sensibly and i thought they looked really cool.
