I should scorn to trade my state with kings

Last Thursday night I picked up Josh from the train station, and then Friday night was the wild and crazy and slightly appropriate Thrift Store Prom. Talk about your crazy day: I had class until 4, then rushed home for a late lunch, grabbed Bethany and picked up prom supplies from Food For Less, got to the hall by 5:30 to help set up until 7:30, rushed home and changed, got our group of Josh, Ryan, Bethany, Rebecca, and myself back to the prom by 8, rocked out all night, helped clean up, got home after midnight, went for a walk and talk with Josh, then died in bed. Yeah, it's not easy to be me. Seriously though, its been a long time since I've had as much fun as I did that night. Our group was busting out the most ridiculous stuff.
Highlights:
- Josh convincing me to do "the bull" with him
- Sliding across the floor on my knees in my grandpa pants
- Trying to dance with Rebecca during the slow "prom court" dance and realizing she refuses to be led, hah
- Starting a circle pit during the fast part of Paradise City (that Guns n' Roses song)
- Busting out ridiculous hardcore dancing moves after the pit opened up
- Pretty girl telling me she thought I was a good dancer after prom was over
- Realizing I had just sucked a balloonful of helium and saying "Thank you!" in a squeaky voice
- Going for a good nightwalk with Josh and talking junk out

Ahhhh... some nights just need to happen more often. Saturday and Sunday were fun when I wasn't slugging away at my Programming Languages project. Hung out with Josh and Peter for a while, picked up a paratrooper messenger bag from the army surplus store, FINALLY GOT THE FROU FROU CD!!! Seriously, that music is audiogasmic. There's nothing else to it. Today, Michelle cut my hair, which was a new experience, but good over all. Monday night was the first night of the Bible Study Gabe and I are leading. There were only two freshmen who came and Gabe and I almost got so discouraged that we called it off, but God reassured us that this study is what He wants. So we went through with it, and it was AMAZING. PERIOD. Praise God for supporting me when I'm too weak to keep fighting on myself (which is every moment of every day).

P.S. I think I might be in love. And that freaking stinks. I let myself down.

P.P.S. Here's a blurry picture of Josh, Rebecca, and I at Thrift Store Prom!
