Sunday I finally got around to Felling the tree in my yard. it was 90% dead and with the storm approaching I thought it best to atleast try.
We were able to use a rope saw on the big branch that was hanging over the alley. (if that is what you call it)
It worked pretty well. We cut another smaller branch and dented the fence. Then Ken got a little crazy and dropped a large branch on the tree and around the gas meter. (got lucky there, but I am not sure those branches were big enough to break it, maybe dent it) Then the last one we cut down was pretty large. We cut them all down in fire wood size logs and then it was dark and too cold to work. So we called it a day.
The previous day I bought my first pair of jeans in probablly 10 years. (some thought 15 years, but I don't think that long) I had a few comments of, I don't remember the last time I saw you in jeans.
Clearing brush, not my idea of a good time. I wonder when I will get time back for me, that I am not certain.
I have a green house that needs work. I need to start getting the plan of attack together and figure out where I am going to get some funding for it.
It is currently being used for storage but that should be too hard to fix.
Maybe if I can find some nursery or some large company that is going out of busienss to figure out what i want to do I wouldn't mind some hanging gardens, for tomatos and what not. I need to figure out what else to include.
The garage is mostly cleaned out. I still want to insulate that and put up some dry wall. More time and more money. Things to think and ponder on.
