This season has been really weird with a ton of trick plays, blown calls, and the Wildcat offense (which I almost think I've had enough of, as cool as it is). Tennessee's running game is insane, which we can't say about Arizona... however we do know how to run it in with Hightower. He's been a pleasant surprise fantasy-wise, and I believe he's running better than Edge, which can be argued well I believe, because James' fumble against Carolina could have been considered the deciding play. Cleveland beat Jacksonville which is a very good thing for Cleveland, but I'm almost bummed for the Jags. Garrard's one of my favorite players and his team has been struggling. And who thought the Colts would be 3-4 coming out of Week 8? They are usually a given as far as the AFC South division champ.
I was pulling for the Rays during the post season but it's all good. I'm almost kind of glad it ended when it did. Basketball immediately picked up where it left off so we still have a few things to talk about, plus I'm a little bit more aware of things happening in basketball than I am with baseball. How ridiculous is Greg Oden getting hurt again? Baron Davis with a whole bunch of new people on the Clippers makes for an interesting season for a pretty poor franchise. They were pwned by the Lakers, but I hope it's just a matter of chemistry. I think that's all I have to say about the 08-09 basketball season tipoff. Oh wait, two things:
fuck Timmy for trying to shoot another 3, and I can't tell if Popazit is just being cute or being a total dick in this video. It could go either way. I mean. Shaq did call him a coward. Either way it's pretty dang funny.
Even though this was week 6 I do think Dan Orlovsky pwning himself was worth posting.
