Writing even more new music all the time.
Still working on getting a new drummer for SW
Promoting the fuck out of the oct 29th show is going well I think
Currently investigating the Shibuya-kei genre, which means listening to a lot of: Cornelius, Pizzicato Five, Cibo Matto, Melt Banana Kashimi Karie, etc. Although what I've found already [with the extensive assistance of adam, btw], is that The Pillows and Yoko Kanno, who I was really hoping were each the forerunners of their respective movements, are actually totally one of a kind. I was hoping a thorough investigation of the genre would give me an idea of where all my pseudo-jazz harmonies are coming from, but Shibuya-kei is really just 'music to make martinis to.'
I'll say it again: 21 grams is NOT a good movie.
There are some psycho fucking girls that come into kinkos late in my shift
Cool kids sttanding outside the strasberg theatre speaking italian and smoking cigarettes are interesting and hopefully some of them will come to the show.
Between Satisfaction Wheel and The Job I've completely forgotten what free time is and to be honest I think it's fucking great
