Number 45 on my list of things to do...
45. Get my shoulder tattoos removed or covered up
So I phoned Laserase yesterday and asked for their first available free consultation, which doesn't happen to be until 15th October 12pm. So I booked it. I heard conflicting stories about laser removal, but I decided to just go have a consult and see for myself. Even the nurse I spoke to on the phone said my tattoos wll not be totally gone for my wedding - this is because they like to leave 10 weeks between treatments to prevent scarring. Which is fair enough, as I don't want scars. But they will be much faded by the big day, which means they'll be easy to cover up with cover-up make-up.
Will post more info once I get it on the 15th. The nurse said the procedure has been described as like having an elastic band flicked on your skin repeatedly, or scalding water splashed on you. It can't be any more painful than getting them done in the first place (and it wasn't that painful) and at least they are on my arm which is a pretty tough area.

In other news, I have a new foster puppy. She is 17 days old today and we have had her and her litter from newborn, but her 3 brothers unfortunately didn't make it. They were callously discarded in a plastic carrier bag like somebody's leftover lunch wrappers. Bastards.
Pics, and a couple of smiley ones of Elliot & Asha, behind the cut:
I love those smiles!
