So, from now on, in my head, they dated in college for a while until Jennifer decided that she was "really straight all along," and "just experimenting." Jodie took a few weeks in a retreat to deal with that sort of nasty breakup, wrote a lot of emo poetry with her brilliant school papers (which she later burned), and ended up getting over her by realizing that you can't ever fix other people, but you're also not responsible for others' actions and thus she was never at fault.
The two met again in 2003, and they were cordial. Secretly, Jennifer still has feelings for Jodie, but they're both married. And Jodie's totally over her anyway. You go, Jodie!
