going from not running at all to running all the time should be a gradual process so your body has time to get used to the impact of running. jumping right into it will result in what happened here. when you go out next, get a digital wristwatch and bring it w/you. time yourself to walk 1 minute, run 30 seconds, walk 1 minute, run 30 seconds. do that for a mile. pat yourself on the back and take a shower after stretching out and having a lot of water
