hughsbeautiful and me went see the Barrowman in La Cage Aux Folles.
We flew all the way to London to see him, and I'm SO GLAD we did. I'm really not a musical theater person, but it was the greatest fun. I had a few cringes at the start, but as it went, they completely bought me. The Barrowman is GORGEOUS! Dragged up, or not, he has THE PRESENCE, Simon Burke playing George was superb, I kind of became a fan of him now. He's really good on stage and the sweetest, nicest guy. Also has a great chemistry with the Barrowman, the George/Albin scenes were my favourite in the whole show. They were really sweet together, and Albin had some nice vulnerable moments while some of their scenes, and that always gets me. On a shallow note their kiss at the end was hotness. It started kind of tame, and then the Barrowman really went for it. Lovely view :)
The only thing I mind is that we saw only once. It was not enough, not in the slightest. If I'll ever have the chance to see him on stage again, I will book tickets for multiple days. You only get a taste the first time.
Also, it was my first trip to London, and I'm convinced now that's the place to live. Thanks to
hughsbeautiful for being my guide. I'm blown away with the city.
We went to the stage door afterwards, and managed to take a few pictures.

And one of Simon Burke. I wish we had more of him. Gorgeous man.
