Have I mentioned recently that I love my job?? Because I really do.
My boss talked to me today and, long story short, my near future features a raise (Thank God! These student loans are killing me!!) And my not-so-distant future very likely features a promotion. I still need to interview, of course…. And she can’t guarantee me anything. But, she’s fairly certain, that shortly I’ll be put into a pool of candidates to draw from whenever a position opens, which happens fairly regularly.
Also I think the crazy lady came back in… I couldn’t be sure because she wasn’t all bundled up (for those of you who don’t live in MN it was over 80 today. Crazy.) But she told me that the Ayatollah was responsible for 9/11 and that they travel around the world doing bad things and sometimes hang out in Minneapolis and this book she was looking at, it used to have their pictures in it but they took out the pictures because they knew that she knew what they looked like. Wow. She’s def my new favourite. Although the lady who sits in metaphysics and talks to Sylvia Brown is pretty amazing too. A few quotes: “They “can’t make me eat broccoli” “Sylvia, the employees are talking to me again.” “They took my maps!” All of this aimed at a Sylvia Brown book. She gets points too. :-)
