misjudgement
Can I call them or what?
Tonight LB and I went to see Service Group at Club Statik-LA. \
Firstly, it was at the site of the Garage, one of the places I used to play with my old band.
Secondly, I saw the second band come on stage. They took forever to set up their shit. They took onstage a notebook computer, keyboard controller, headphones for the drummer and singer/guitar player/keyboard player. I said, "Watch out, this will be a shitty Radiohead ripoff band." I wish I was wrong, but I wasn't.
The band had technical difficulties getting their computer to work. I guess the cool ambient bells and whooshing sounds didn't want to appear. I asked myself, "Just how many guitar players does it take to boot a computer?"
BUT
The high light of the night came when while watching band number 3, I noticed the drummer's eyes just staring off. It was kinda freaky looking. At this point, I leaned over to LB and said, "Check out the drummer's face, its freaky!" TO which she responded, "He's BLIND. You're an A-HOLE!"
