so, I forgot to tell you I was going to Mudgee with Gabby, my family and Leon and my dog Max. Well, it was certainly eventful. We were there Friday to Monday.

At the farm they have this little dirt bike thing and my brother had a go on it on Saturday and then Gabby. What you do is basically ride around the house. So Gabby gets on and starts going around the house. I was standing on the deck taking photos of my dog Maxy when we hear this sort of woop scream.

Everyone went silent.

I thought some kids were yelling but we were in the middle of nowhere. So me and mum and dad start looking at each other like wtf.

I then realised that it was actually silent and that the dirt bike wasnt making any noise. So I called out for Gabby and she didn't reply. Immediately me and Leon sprint around the house yelling for Gabby.

As soon as I turned around the corner I knew Gabby had ridden the bike over the edge of a retaining wall that was about 1.5 meters tall.

Before I got to the edge I heard her scream for help and when I got to the edge she was at the bottom. She had taken her helmet off and was lying with the bike squashing her ankle. I turned and screamed that we have to get down there some how and my dad out of nowhere leaped down. At this point I ran back to the house crying and gagging while my dad carried her back to the house. I sat there in such a mess. Just writing about it makes me almost spew again.

Even now I get these flashes of her lying there, or I hear her scream. It sounds so melodramatic but I just can't forget about it. I was in worse shape than Gabby. She was fine when my dad got her up. I felt bad but I stayed away from her for 5 minutes or so because I knew I would freak her out with my screaming and crying. *headdesk*.

I would have been fine if I had to deal with it but because my dad was doing it I knew she'd be better off getting sorted out by him as he is like the first aid super man.

We couldn't stop talking about how bad it could have been. She missed these two huge metal poles that were sticking up out of the ground holding up a tree, she missed a huge thing of water and she could have landed in so many other ways. She also picked the part of the retaining wall that was the highest woohoo :P

We put ice on her ankle and I cleaned up her arm (she landed in thistles). I was so traumatised for a few hours.

I nagged her to go to the hospital because her ankle was hurt. She could walk on it at this time but I wanted her to get it checked out so I could breathe.

Mudgee hospital is so weird.

You can tell every one who works there are locals. They were very quirky.

After a few hours of waiting (there were babies being born, awww) the doctor called in the X Ray man who rode there on his motorbike and laughed at Gabby. While waiting Crusty Demons were on tv, that caused many lulz.

The X Ray man thought there was something a little odd about the bone but the doctor confirmed it wasnt broken. I think the bone just got some battering by the metal thing that jammed into it.

At the hospital the woman apologised greatly because we had to wait a while which was funny considering it was like being at a Sydney hospital so we didnt mind. The funny thing is the woman says 'We don't hire out crutches anymore because people don't bring them back after making a deposit so you will have to buy them' .... oh ok .... 'but there's no one in reception today so come back on Monday to pay' ... oh .... 'but you can take them now'

???

Makes sense.

My dad hurt his ankle in the jump too. He has a gash and bad bruise, but it'll be fine.

Oh and I hurt myself too!!

Yeah I got into the car and I felt like my leg skin was ripping open, almost like it was cought on something so I didn't move and pulled up my pants but nothing was there. Then it happened again and this ant fell out.

That small ant gave me so much pain. I sat there with ice on it for ages.

Poor me :P

Last night I went to Amanda Palmer. It was really good considering I'm no big fan, Gabby likes her more. But I bumped into Ruby and Arran :) helloo

The end.
