Bon Jovi - Scottrade Center STL

I've got mixed feelings about posting about tonight's Bon Jovi concert.

It was a great concert, but it was one that Karen had to miss out on; which really sucks since the tickets to see this show as a family was one of her Christmas presents.
My sweet Bubbie Bee has been very sick this weekend, and she was in no condition to go downtown to see a rock concert.

Fortunately, the ticket did not go to waste. My youngest brother, Aaron, was able to go with us.

I think the kids had a good time. This was Delaney's first ever rick concert. I'm proud to be able to say that I, Dad, have taken both of my kids to their first rock concerts. I'm just a cool Dad like that.

This afternoon, when I realized that Karen could not go to the concert with us, I decided that I had to figure out a way for her to get to go see this show. I had three options available to me: 1) Fly us to Colorado, 2) Drive to Chicago and see another Sunday night show, then try to race home to go to work the next day and get the kids to school,... or 3) Go see Bon Jovi in Memphis, TN on the kids' Spring Break.

I chose option 3. Karen and I will be going to see Bon Jovi next month on march 16th, at somewhere called the FedEx Forum in Memphis, TN. If I can swing the funds, I'm going to try to make this a combination Concert and romantic getaway, to take the place of the weekend we didn't get to have for valentine's Day a week ago. (same possible plans apply, although I no longer have all of the notes and letters that I created for that adventure weekend).

Time to do some research and figure out options. But most importantly, karen is super excited that she is getting another chance to see Bon Jovi in concert.
