The Winter without a Snow Storm (First Snow)

I wonder if Rankin Bass could make an animated short about that title (kind of like "A Year Without a Santa Clause")?

This has been a very strange Winter. Today's brief snow fall of less than half an inch is the first snow that we have received in the 2016/17 Winter season. We typically get one or two last snow storms in the month of March. past years have been between 3 to 5 inches in snow fall totals per pre-Spring storm. But that is typically a last gasp of Winter, after at least three to five snow storms totaling between 10 to 20 total snowfall inches for the season.

We've always gotten at least one big snow each year. Last year's snow happened over a weekend, and the kids had zero snow days all school year.

It's just very strange.
